Student Government Association

     The SGA is the Student Government Association of Central Connecticut State University. The SGA Senate's main goal, once elected, is to serve the undergraduate student body through advocacy, funding, and programming. 

     The SGA strives to provide representation, valuable services, programs, and events to students at CCSU! We also serve as the student's direct voice to the CCSU administration. Student senators are your link to the people who make the real decisions. From the President of the University, to the teachers, and security services, we are here because of you. We want to know what you think and what your needs are. 

Here are some examples of what SGA does for our students:

     - Allocates over $600,000+ every year in funding for student organizations and SGA sponsored programs and events. 

     - Serves as a representative sample of all students on campus.

     - Produces engaging, purpose-driven events for the University community.

     - Provides leadership opportunities for passionate students. 

     - Engages the University administration on issues relevant to students.

     If you want to be actively involved with campus life, join one of the many diverse clubs and organizations on campus.

     SGA meets every Wednesday at 3:05pm in Bellin A&B in the Student Center. Anyone is welcome to attend and we encourage all students to sit in on at least one meeting.
